This surgery is done with various procedures for people who are obese. This surgery is done by changing your digestive system to lose weight. There will be a lot of procedures to lose weight. But when all those procedures are failed, you’ll be getting this surgery.

After six months, it starts to reduce to 0.45-0.90 kgs. The research shows that this bypass surgery is safe and effective for people who want to undergo weight-loss surgeries. 

Biliopancreatic diversion with a duodenal switch bariatric surgery

 This surgery makes the person feel like having a heavy meal after having only a few. It is because the surgeon removes a large part from the stomach. It limits the food intake. Through research, it came to know that this surgery is not for all the people thinking about weight loss. This procedure is only for those whose body mass index is greater than 50. By this surgery, the people mostly lose 70-80% of their excess weight and maintain their new weight. 

Vertical sleeve gastrectomy bariatric surgery       

 This surgery is similar to the Biliopancreatic diversion with a duodenal switch bariatric surgery abroad. The surgeon removes the large part of your stomach, which the remaining part looks like a banana. But by this surgery, you will lose only 55-75% of your excess weight. This surgery is shown to be safe in the entire research. 

Risks

Though the surgeries are shown safe during the research, there’s a chance of having risks. Even after having the surgery, there may be a problem. This risk includes having infections, over bleeding, or even clotting of blood. It is highly recommended to take aftercare after surgery by consulting your surgeon. 

You need to be on liquids for almost two to three weeks after the surgery. You should not intake junk food which may cause problems to operated part. You need to intake fresh, pure food, and slowly later, you need to take some soft foods.
