What are Hastelloy C22
Hastelloy, unlike other alloys, it is a superalloy that is made up of important metals like Nickel, Chromium, Molybdenum, etc. along with nature another difference between other alloys and Hastelloy C22 is that it contains Tungsten. Among its corrosion-resistant properties are resistance to hot contaminated mineral acids, organic and inorganic chloride-contaminated media, chloride, formic and acetic acids, acetic anhydride, seawater, and brine solutions. The Nickel content in Hastelloy C22 is 56%, Molybdenum 17.0%, Chromium up to 16.5%, Tungsten at 4.50 %.
Hastelloy C22 has a tensile strength of 100 ksi and a yield strength of 42.1 ksi and 290 MPa, with a 56 percent elongation. Hastelloy C22 products are extremely long-lasting. Specifications are ASTM B575 / ASME SB575. Thread, weld, and tube end connections are all options.
What are Sheets?
A sheet is simply what it is, but it is made of metal and has a longer circumference. The thickness of a sheet differs from 0.3mm to 120mm not more than that else-ways it will fall under the category of the metal plate. There are two terms that are similar, but they have significant differences. The thickness of a plate is greater than that of a sheet, and a sheet cannot exceed the thickness of a plate.
